Participants will learn the basics of SMART's interactive whiteboard software, SMART Notebook version 10. It can be used in the classroom to create engaging and interactive lesson activities. Participants will also learn how to create, search and insert objects, which includes text, images, audio, video and multimedia, in SMART Notebook software. During this session participants will also learn how to change the properties of these objects to make their presentation more effective.
Goal:
Participants will learn the basics of how to navigate the SMART Board interactive whiteboard Notebook software version 10 to engage students with interactive lesson activities.
Objectives:
Participants will gain an understanding of:
how to navigate the SMART Notebook software interface.
how to navigate and use Notebook side tabs as well as create Notebook Gallery collections.
how to use drop-down menus, the Notebook menu bar, the Notebook toolbar and the Properties side tab to change the properties of objects within a Notebook file.
how to insert graphics files into Notebook software.

their "My Content" folder filled with items they may use to create their interactive lesson during the next session.
